RUPS SNMP agent makes your UPS “SNMP Manageable” and “Web Server Browsable”. It allows network managers to monitor control remote RS232(serial) or contact closure UPS not only through SNMP-based Network Management System such as HP Open View, SUN SunNet Manager and more, but also through Web Browsers such as Netscape Browser and Microsoft Internet Explorer. Useing SNMP and HTTP (Web Server) protocols, RUPS SNMP Agent allows the network manager with a LAN environment to easily monitor control the UPS, most importantly, it offers remote power managemet(sites, cities even countries worldwide) through the use of internet, Combined with RUPS monitoring software it can allow multiple number of PC to monitor one UPS so as to protect their system abrupt UPS power depletion by safely shuting down the system.
