In clustered storage environments, the Apollo 4520 offers internal cabling for failover, plus massive disk density of 23 LFF drives per server. This system is an optimal fit for workloads such as Lustre parallel file system and Microsoft Storage Spaces.

The HPE Apollo 4500 System portfolio offers increased space savings, the HP Apollo 4530 can fit up to 30 servers per 42U rack - 50% more density than a rack filled with 2U servers.
